I need a break from my family. Now that the holidays are over and I feel more settled in (although I still sleep on the floor…in a corner of their extra room…which they use for storage…) I’m antsy to do stuff and…well..they just don’t do stuff!
Honestly, I’ve just been working a lot and not able to do anything so I think it’s just getting to me....

I’m currently watching the Golden Globes and missing Lifey.
I’ve known many people who enjoy watching films and watching awards shows but they never really get it like Lifey does. She’s into it more for the films/actors/directors but also enjoys the whole “red carpet” part. I’m in it a bit more for the red carpet and generally watching celebrities interact...
I don’t usually eat McDonalds food, not for any moral issues, although I did read “Fast Food Nation” and know all about it, but simply because it does not taste all that great. As I like to tell people, if I want fast food I will go to a place that AT LEAST takes the time to inject their meat with charbroiled flavor.
