So, last night I saw “Sucker Punch” with the fam and it took me back to my youth. I may be spoiling stuff for you here but, whatevs. When Baby Doll was first asked to dance to none other than Bjork’s “Army of Me” it was all I could do to not burst out in hysterical laughter.
You see, I used to be a HUUUUGGGEEE Bjork fan. I am still a fan just not as much as I used to be. To me, Bjork was the epitomy of being different and innovative when it came to music. Aaaaaand, because I was a lonely little boy, whenever I was alone at home I would close all the blinds, lock the doors, and blast “Army of Me” while dancing trez interpretively to it. I mean, I was on the floor, rolling, flailing my arms, etc.
I eventually left that behind when I started to be more social and drinking. However, once, at a labor day party or something of the sort of a person I did not know I tried to get up off a stoop type thing and toppled over. I, in my not so soberness, thought I could pass it off as being intentional by doing another interpretive number while on my back. Yes, Bjork was also playing at the time.
To borrow a phrase…LULZ FOR DAZE!!!!
